Dublin, here I come!

Hello! My name is Demi Kuczala. I am currently a junior Human Resources Management and Marketing double major. I am the setter on the Pitt Women’s Club Volleyball Team as well as a member of the Human Resources Management Club. I started my college career off as a setter for the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, but ultimately decided Pitt was a better fit for me. A few interesting things about me are that I am a twin, a vegetarian, and I practice yoga daily! I also love spending time with family and friends.

This summer I will be studying abroad in Ireland through the Pitt Plus3 Transfer Program. Since this is my first time going abroad, I thought that traveling to Dublin for two weeks would be a perfect starting point. Also, this two-week program is the perfect amount of time as it allows me to still intern this summer. I will be interning in Manhattan at Latham & Watkins in their Global Human Resources Department.  Post graduation I plan to attend law school! This program offers real world experience through company site visits which is an opportunity that will enhance my academic and professional career. Personally, I will have the opportunity to meet new people on this trip as well as see Irish culture first hand. I am very excited for what this trip has to offer and I cannot wait to explore Dublin!
