Hi! My name is Ryan moore, and I am a rising sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh. I am in the College of Business administration, and am currently an undeclared major. I am from Westfield, New Jersey, and look forward to this trip to China!
One of the deciding factors in choosing Pitt as my college was the Plus 3 program. I received a notice in the mail with a potential scholarship opportunity that would pay for the flight. In addition, I also had a friend who had been on the Costa Rica trip and strongly recommended the experience, as it gives a new perspective on some of the aspects of our life that we may take for granted.
However, when it came time to pick the program I would join, I elected against the Costa Rica trip. The supply chain wasn’t as interesting as the smartphone industry, which has a clear impact on how I interface with most of my interactions. Personally on this trip I look forward to learning more about smartphones and how they can affect our lives in the future, as well as meeting new friends over the course of the trip.
