Since we didn’t have to meet until 2:40 today, a few of us girls decided to take the free morning to eat a big breakfast and shop around the streets of Verona. Breakfast was amazing and I had crab fruit, chocolate croissants, and a cappuccino. All of us got at least one thing to remind us of our visits. It was raining today, so we tried to spend as little time possible outside.
Once back at the hotel, we all reunited to depart for the Consortium lecture. The lecture talked about the outsourcing that this firm does and specifically a company named Mero and More. We discussed how to get the best quality without compromising other aspects of the company. This is where the Consortium comes into play, they help businesses maximize their quality. The president of the company showed us around the building and where we met with pattern cutters, graphic designers, and photographers.

Since we were already at the Mero and More factory, we then ate at their cafe for dinner. While waiting for dinner, we actually found out that there was an article written about us in the local Verona newspaper. Of course it was in Italian, so I’m not totally sure what is says. Once dinner ended, we returned back to The Grand Hotel for our final night in Verona. We have a very busy day tomorrow and it’s going to be very sad leaving this beautiful city.
