Meet Plus3 Ireland 2019!

Welcome to the Ireland Plus3 Transfer Study Abroad Program!

During their two week program in Dublin, Ireland, students will explore globalization through the technology and innovation industries. Plus3 Transfer participants will have the chance to be immersed in Irish culture through the trip.

The main academic portion of the Plus3 Transfer program features visits to leading Irish firms and business. Students will engage with professionals through industry-specific company tours, Q&A sessions with executives, and academic lectures that provide cultural and political perspective.

Cultural activities are another component of the Plus3 Transfer Program. Students will visit the Temple Bar Farmer’s Market and the Dublin Flea Market, just to name a few of the many opportunities for cultural exposure. Opportunities for sightseeing around the city will include a walking tour about the history of Dublin, as well as an excursion to Kilkenny and the Wicklow Mountains.


In 2018 students will explore globalization in Dublin through technology and innovation.

Ireland’s principal city, Dublin is rich in vibrant culture and history. Located on the banks of the Liffey River, the city is home to one of the youngest populations in Europe. It is full of robust culture and vibrant artistic heritage. A top-30 global city according to the Globalization and World Studies Research Network, Dublin will give you the unique opportunity to explore a bustling city with a strong economic drive.

  • Site visits may include: Google, Facebook, Paypal, Microsoft, Yahoo, eBay, PopCap Games, Populis, LinkedIn, AOL, Twitter, Airbnb
  • Cultural activities may include:  A walking tour about the history of Dublin, visits to the Temple Bar Farmer’s Market, Dublin Flea Market, Dublin Castle, Croke Park Stadium Tour, the Cliffs of Moher, and an excursion to Kilkenny, and the Wicklow Mountains
  • Locations will include: Dublin, Kilkenny, and the Wicklow Mountains
