Today is scheduled to be a free day for us. We all woke up around 9am and got some breakfast. But we left the hotel in a taxi around 10:45 to Hae-un Dae Beach. The weather was pretty glorious, sunny and warm but not humid. We stayed there for about 2 to 2 and half hours. We just chilled in the sand, took some pictures, and if it got too hot we’d wet our feet.

We got some lunch at Thursday Party restaurant and all 12 of us ordered a burger! I ordered an extremely good hawaiian one; we all needed some american food haha. Then we got some ice cream, saw the beach one last time, and then went back to the hotel. We had an hour until we had to be in the lobby to go to the farewell dinner location. The room was incredibly formal and could’ve passed as a wedding reception or anniversary dinner!

At the farewell dinner, we presented our business ideas that had to relate to South Korea based on our experiences. Our group’s idea was an app that would tell you where all the nearest free wifi’s are, since its cumbersome to find free wifi if you don’t buy an international plan. It’s meant for short term tourists. Then we gave Dr. Yun and Dr. Clark a cake and a card and said our thanks and gratitude for such a great experience. Dr. Yun also gave us individual gifts! Then Jing and Cheryl from Asia Institute gave a speech and Jing said in all her experience, Dr. Yun is the only one who told her to be happy, and I know that’s something I’ll never forget. They also gave us a gift, and then it was dinner time!
Dinner was overwhelming because it was the largest buffet I’ve ever been in and they had all sorts of international food. I picked up what my taste buds were craving, had some dessert, and called it a night!
