Hello everyone! My name is Caroline Collier. I am a freshman majoring in marketing and supply chain management. In the future I hope to have a career in marketing where I can be creative and help clients ideas come to life. Here at Pitt I am a member of American Marketing Association, where I am on the Key Creation committee. In key creations I get to strengthen my consulting and website design skills. Outside of business related things, I am also a part of the Pitt Ballet Club and Alpha Delta Pi sorority.
For a little bit more about me, I am from Columbus, Ohio and live with my parents and my older brother. I really like to dance, travel, take spin classes, watch movies, and go out with friends. Some of my favorite movies include: Age of Adeline, Crazy Rich Asians, The Holiday, and so many more. I really love to travel with my family in the summer. Some of my favorite places to vacation are Jaco, Costa Rica and Hessel, Michigan. I have never been to Europe before, so I am super excited to go this summer with Plus3!
When it came to deciding where to apply for Plus 3, Amsterdam was the first place that sparked my interest just because of how beautiful it is. I have always heard such amazing things about the Netherlands and going there has always been a dream of mine. I am so excited to learn about the supply chain and marketing aspects of the companies we visit in The Netherlands and use that information to help strengthen my knowledge of the topics and bring that back to Pitt next semester. I am looking forward to meeting new friends and getting to know a new country and seeing the inter-workings of many well known companies in the area.
I am counting down the days until I am there (literally) and can not wait to make so many memories and learn so much while abroad!
