Hey everyone! My name is Colin Manning, I am a freshman at The University of Pittsburgh from Commack, New York. I plan to double major in finance and business analytics, as well as minor in economics. At Pitt, I’m involved in Alpha Kappa Psi Professional fraternity, as well as in The Socially Responsible Investment Portfolio as an analyst in the Energy & Utilities Sector. In my free time, I enjoy working out, listening to music, playing volleyball, and snowboarding.
This summer, I will be traveling to Ecuador as a part of Pitt Business’ Plus3 study abroad program, spending two weeks exploring the production and supply chains of the country’s domestically produced chocolate and flowers. This will be my first time studying abroad, and I feel this two-week program will be a great introduction to foreign travel, and will be an appropriate exposure to international industries and supply chains. I am ecstatic to embark on this journey, and I can’t wait to see what Ecuador has in store!
