I am Frederick Laudati but I go by Jack. I am a Computer Engineering student at Pitt and I love to learn by doing. I am part of Pitt’s Formula Society of Automotive Engineers where I get to help build a race car. This is very special to me because I get to apply what I have learned in school and see the results of my work.
I also love to volunteer and currently hold a chair position in habitat for humanity. I want to use what I know to help make a positive impact on the world. I try to spread kindness throughout my day and treat all different types of people with respect.
I am excited to broaden my worldview and better understand other cultures by traveling to the Netherlands. I want to learn about the way businesses are run in different parts of the world and explore the customs of other people. I hope this experience enables me to consider a wider audience when designing and that it also enables me to show greater empathy and understanding for others.
