I have never travelled abroad before, nor has anyone in my family. I had no idea what to expect and quite frankly I was scared. I could have never have anticipated this city to feel so safe and welcoming. The walkable streets are more present then I thought possible, and the public transportation makes it so easy to get around. I had no reason to ever be nervous and I can’t wait to travel more. I am so thankful Prague was the first international city I got experience, it truly exceeded my expectations in every way.
After a late evening yesterday at the coolest bar in the world, I woke up in time for a quick breakfast before headed to CEZ. We spent the morning touring the power plant building, which was massive. After lunch we had a real off-roading experience down to the coal mine. Honestly I wasn’t the most excited for this company tour but the scale of the whole operation was so impressive.
After a nap, I went to a café for dinner and listened to some music to decompress before we attended a black light theatre show. I absolutely loved the performance. It was so whimsical and creative, and the humor was so light and enjoyable. I am so thankful that I have had these opportunities to immerse myself in the culture of Czechia.
