Today was an amazing tour of Kunta Hora, a village outside of Prague. It was very whimsical and quaint. We started the day by visiting the bone church, was was beyond impressive. If we had be allowed to take photos, they still would not have been able to convey they size and power of these pieces of art. Jana said that over 40,000 skeletons were represented in the building, most of which victim of a plague in the 1300s.
We then visited two impressive religious buildings. Jana was very insightful as always, providing such rich historical and cultural context that made this locations even more easily appreciated. The art was something I can not begin to describe. We then had a quick lunch in the town, followed by a lovely little dessert.
I have always had such a sweet tooth and Czechia has had some of the best goodies. I would definitely say my favorite dining experiences thus far have been the moments when I could grab a little coffee and some type and cute dessert and enjoy them together. In the evening we all went and painting dishware up in Lessertown. It was really fun. Now we are going to a jazz bar to see some live music!
