Day 6-Audi

Today was the last day of company tours. This time we went to the biggest and the most known company on his visit, Audi. Compared to the other companies we visited, this does not come close to the sheer size of the plant. Audi also had it’s own museum which was pretty cool to see the evolution of cars and some historical background behind them.

When it came to the automobile industry, the other companies seemed to be struggling with the shift from internal combustion engine’s to electric vehicles’s. Audi, however, was the one leading that shift. Its no doubt that electric vehicles are the future after hearing it from the company that produces these cars.

After the tour, we traveled back to Augsburg University and had a Q&A session with Stefan Nicola who is a automobile industry analyst. It was interesting to hear from him how not only Germany, but also Europe were doing in the car industry, and where companies prioritize their efforts to.

For food, I had the basic hotel breakfast, the Audi cafeteria for lunch, and a local Chinese restaurant for dinner. The breakfast and the lunch were nothing special, but dinner was what really stood out. I order fried rice from the restaurant and was amazing. It was especially good because my favorite food was fried rice which bumps up the rating. My overall ranking for dining today is an 8/10.
