Today we went to a company called Nano Tech. They partner with power plants and control how much power needs to be produced at any time. They had a really nice rooftop with a great view of the city. We then went to the National Technical Museum where we saw the history of cars in the Czech Republic as well as planes and other motor vehicles. They also had a section on astronomy and the history of astronomy in the Czech Republic. After that I went on a walk up the hill, through a park to the nearby soccer stadium to buy some merchandise. Later tonight we have dinner on a boat on the river so that will be a fun time.
So far on this trip I have many things to be thankful for but I think I am most thankful for the people on this trip. We all get along well and have fun together the whole trip. It’s always nice to meet a whole new group of people that all get along. It’s something that I didn’t think would happen on this trip. Another thing I’m thankful for is being able to go to a city in Europe with students from Pitt and have a full schedule already made up for you. This trip has been really well organized and I thank everyone that planned it for that.
