I would definitely recommend Plus3 Transfer Plus Czech Republic to other engineering students. Two weeks was the perfect amount of time to get to know my peers and the city around us. I think that the biggest thing that I would recommend is to be really intentional with how much you pack. I took one large, checked bag and a backpack as my personal/carry-on item. It was much easier maneuvering through the airport with just two bags. Also, I would recommend packing outfits that involve lots of layers. Because we are out pretty much all day, the weather fluctuates quite a bit. Looking back, I would’ve packed another heavier jacket for cold early mornings and late nights. I would also recommend packing a Tide to go stick or another type of stain remover in case you were to stain one of your items. Additionally, pack medicine! Pretty much everyone got a cold at one point, and we had to make a group stop at the local pharmacy. Overall, I would recommend going into the program with an open mind. People may get sick, busses might break down, and company tours may get canceled. With that being said, unexpected excursions like a ghost tour and free time to explore the city could be added. Studying abroad is about embracing the world around you and being open minded.
