Today we went on another interesting company visit with Nano Energies. The office space alone was incredible to see and felt like a fairytale. They had greenery all throughout the collaborative workspace, and even a rooftop garden with stunning views of the city. It was interesting getting to hear from this smaller company and getting to compare it with CEZ and our tour of the power plant and coal mine. There wouldn’t be a role for me at this company specifically, but getting to see this office space really allowed me to envision myself working in Prague. We also got to explore the National Technical Museum which had tons of cool cars and a fascinating exhibit on the astronomical clock and astronomy in general.
I am grateful for so many aspects of this trip, but I would say the thing that has definitely been the most meaningful for me is getting to really feel at home in Prague. Old Town, the Astronomical Clock, and a good portion of Prague just feel so familiar after these two weeks. I will forever be grateful for the connections, memories, and knowledge I attained on this trip. I am also very grateful for the raspberry lemonade of the Czech Republic.
