Tenth Day Czech In – A Lot to be Thankful for

Today we got to go on a company visit to cool company by the name of Nano Tech.  The first thing I noticed about the company was how awesome the office was.  The office space was an environment primed for forwarding thinking.   The entire feel of the office space was modern in a way that inspired creativity.  Additionally, the company itself was very cool.  They tapped into the energy market in a way that I’ve never seen before, connecting organizations to power sources while monitoring them through their software. Pretty cool stuff.

With the end of this trip nearing, I can’t help but think about what I’m grateful for on this travel experience.  I am so thankful for the people on this trip, they have truly helped shape my experience.  Our group of students have gelled together so well that it’s hard to imagine that most of us only met a few months ago.  Additionally, I am very grateful for our tour guide, Jana.  She was fantastic.  I really felt as if she gave our group the full Prague experience.  Lastly, I’m grateful for our program directors.  They structured this trip in a way that gave us a good framework for our activities, while still allowing us to make the trip our own!
