Introduction – Aleeza Kagzi

Hi everyone! My name is Aleeza Kagzi and I am from Northern Virginia. I am a freshman student in the College of Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh with an intended major in Supply Chain Management and Business Analytics. At Pitt Business, I am involved in many clubs such as Corporate Connections at Pitt Business as the Director of Operations, Consulting Club and Supply Chain Management Club. I am looking to further my roles in these clubs and be more involved in the Pittsburgh community both in the school and out. I love watching movies, hanging out with my friends, trying new foods, taking pictures, and painting in my free time.

Professionally, I hope to combine my passion for supply chain management with business analytics in the consulting side of things. I am passionate about understanding how things work especially around global business and supply chains. As my intended majors are Supply Chain Management and Business Analytics and I have picked these two majors as I feel like they offer a broader perspective of knowing how business works both domestically and internationally. I am aiming to start an internship at the end of my sophomore year in that field. Something that I find interesting and want to do in the future is become a supply chain analyst and consultant. I would love to help others through this job as well.

Plus 3 Cyprus

I am excited to travel to Cyprus this summer and learn more about the country. I want to learn more about how business systems work in other countries. I believe the Plus 3 Cyprus program will allow me to learn more about global businesses and different business systems in other countries and offer the best hands-on experiences that will aid my learning journey. I am also excited to learn more about the culture in Cyprus and try new foods!

Things I’ve Learned and Things I Want to Learn More About:

From our pre-departure classes, I have learned many things about Cyprus.

I want to learn more about how the division has impacted and continues to impact the economy and supply chain of Cyprus. I cannot wait to see and experience all the things that we learned in class and ask all the questions that we have come up with in our classes.
