Hello! My name is Liam Johnson and I am from Chapel Hill North Carolina. I am a freshman student in the College of Business Administration at the University of Pittsburgh with an intended major in Finance and Business Analytics. Although I grew up in North Carolina, I was born in Boston Massachusetts and my whole family is from New England. With my family being from New England, I spent all my summers is Maine growing up with my parents and my younger brother. In my free time I love to play sports like hockey and basketball with friends. I also love watching movies in my free time!
Professionally, there are lots of different paths that interest me but I am planning to end up in the entrepreneurship field. I have alway loved creating and building things so I hope to one day own and operate my own company. Academically I am pursuing this by getting a certificate in innovation and entrepreneurship and personally I am working on a few projects that I hope to build up more before the start of my sophomore year.

I am extremely excited to go on this trip to the Netherlands! I love traveling and have been out of the country a few times, including a trip to Switzerland which was one of the main reasons I chose to go back to Europe. I also chose the Netherlands trip because of the concept to consumer program it offers. Being an aspiring entrepreneur, I am excited to learn more about how concepts go from ideas to being on the shelf. I am also excited to learn how the concept to consumer process differs in the Netherlands and in the United States. I think being able to learn more about and compare aspects of this process will teach me a lot about what I want to do in the future and prvide guidance on ways to go about doing it. Personally during the trip, I hope to create great memories, make new friends, and eat amazing food!
