Today is the last and final day of the trip. Yesterday since we didn’t blog, I’ll just do a quick fill in. So, we started the day later and but were still productive as we had our final presentations at the University of Austral. With so much information being given during lectures from very powerful and influential people in Argentina, I think that me and my group felt more than well prepared for the final presentation. We all successfully finished strong and decided to celebrate as it was our last full day in Buenos Aires. A group of us ended up going back to San Telmo to do some last-minute shopping as well as explore the city some more. Lastly, we all ended the night with some tacos and Mr. Ho, this absolutely insane Korean restaurant by the hotel (overall 12/10). Fast forward to today, where we began half of our day with a trip to IES where they served us the best meat dishes that Argentina is known for and spent that time talking about what we loved the most. In hearing everyone’s answers, I think I realized I learned a lot more than I thought I did. I learned more about their language, cultural awareness, how to adapt to different settings, problem solving and a sense of responsibility, independence, and maturity. I think these were the things that I wanted to experience and do it with new people who also had the same goals. We finished our time with pictures and farewells, but still had some time to kill. I took a quick trip to Florida street to get rid of some last-minute pesos and then met back at the hotel to finally depart from the beautiful city of Buenos Aires. Now I am currently writing this blog post in the airport with my fellow study abroaders and I have the biggest pit in my stomach because I don’t want to leave. To say this was not the best experience and decision that I have made, then I would be lying. I am so grateful for this experience and most of all the lifelong friends I made. Now I am officially signing off from WordPress forever, I know you’ll miss me. Until next time…
Day Doce: Adios Buenos Aires!!
