This trip has allowed me to grow in so many different ways. It has opened my eyes to so many new opportunities and ways to view different experiences. However, above all, this trip taught me the importance of surrounding yourself with good people.
I had such an amazing times and I think it was because while I may have only known my friends that I went to Argentina with for 2 weeks, I have gotten so smile, laugh, talk, and feel with each and every one of them. I have realized that this is what makes us human. It is not about the what, but rather the why. Yes, Argentina has been an absolutely amazing experience and it has transformed my life. I have learned a lot more about the country but also about myself in the sense that I want to continue to explore new cultures, ideas and have so many more adventures. I love the balance of cultural, to academic, to social activities that I was able to participate in, and I think that anyone would agree with me. However, the people that I shared this experience with made all of the difference to me. Through the bonds I have formed on this trip I have learn so many lessons while enjoying time with wonderful people. These are lessons that I would not have been able to pick up on from my own personal thoughts and experiences. Further, the people that I was with were so refreshing. Every day was a new day to explore and to smile, and that mindset was created by our group. This fostered a collective sense of happiness and gratitude for our experience while also encourage us to laugh and remember that we were there to have fun.
I did not realize the affect that these 21 other students would have on me throughout my time in Buenos Aires, but it genuinely made my trip so much more amazing. To all of the studious days, lovely nights, and interesting in-betweens, thank you all so much. Today was a lovely day.
