We first had a long city tour of the medieval town of Regensburg on the Danube River. St Peter Cathedral is in the featured photo, unfortunately it was under construction. It was one of the spared cities during WWII, so it’s pretty well preserved. After the guided tour we had some time to explore and eat lunch. Believe is a photo of the pasta I had at a nice Italian restaurant in the city.
We stopped in to a Dunkin’ Donuts to see the differences from that of the States. Below is a picture of all the crazy options they had for donuts. Way more than the limited options at our Dunkin’ and I was a little jealous.
Our last stop of the day was Walhalla, which looks like it was picked up from Athens, Greece and plopped in the country side of Bavaria. Features famous German-speaking people from history who have made meaningful contributions, somewhat of a “hall of fame.” Some people on display that most know includes Albert Einstein and Wolfgang Mozart.
