Hi everyone!
My name is Angus Penn. I am a first year Industrial Engineering student, and I intend to pursue a minor in economics. I am from Montgomery County, PA. I went to Lower Merion high school, which is about 20 minutes from Philadelphia. I played baseball in high school and am a big Phillies fan. I have three dogs at home, and I love to walk them in my free time. In the wintertime one of my favorite things to do is going snowboarding with my friends. I also love to travel, which is one of the reasons I chose to come on Plus 3 to Ho Chi Minh City.
Vietnam has always been on the top of my bucket list for places to travel to, and when I was presented with the opportunity to study abroad there, I had to jump at it. I also am very excited for the mix of professionalism, and to explore the emerging economy and supply chain of Vietnam. Industrial Engineering has a huge business aspect to it, and by learning with both business students from Pitt and UEH I will be able to gain an insightful perspective into real world IE problem solving.
