Hi everyone! My name is Lauren Gribbin and I am from King of Prussia, PA. I am currently a freshman in the College of Business Administration majoring in Finance and Accounting with a minor in Economics. Here at Pitt, I am a member of Delta Sigma Pi, a professional business fraternity, Smart Women Securities, an all-women’s investment portfolio, Undergraduate Finance Club and the Frederick Honors College.
Outside of the classroom, I am a very sociable person. I thrive being around my friends and experiencing new things! I love to travel, try new foods and explore new spots in Pittsburgh. My favorite show is Gilmore Girls and I know the words to every Taylor Swift song.
I am so excited to go to Cyprus. I selected this program because it offers a unique opportunity to combine my passion for business and travel with hands-on international experience, something I believe is crucial in understanding today’s business world. Especially because this was my first opportunity to study abroad. When I’m there, I will be learning about the supply chain management side of business. This interests me because I don’t know much about supply chain management but I am eager to learn more! Cyprus is such a unique island with an extensive history. I can not wait to explore this incredible island and make lifelong memories!
