My experience in Cyprus so far has far exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the unique charm and welcoming atmosphere of the island. One of the things that stood out to me most is the incredible variety of places to shop—whether it’s small local boutiques, bustling markets, or modern shopping centers, there’s always something new to explore. Nicosia, in particular, has surprised me with how clean and well-maintained the city is, especially when compared to many urban areas in the United States. It offers a blend of old-world character and modern convenience that creates a truly unique urban environment. Overall, my time in Cyprus has been enriching, eye-opening, and incredibly rewarding, and I look forward to what the rest of the experience will bring.
