Today was full of excitement. We got to wake up a little later and still had a wonderful breakfast, and then headed to the university. We got to see the Bilbao FSAE team as well as an electric guitar-making club. I really like the idea of making a guitar as a club. Perhaps a first-year engineering experience that I can make a club once I get back.
Then, we saw this bat on the ground that got accidentally stepped on by someone, and it was pretty shocking. I’m really hoping that little guy is okay. After that, we went on a walking tour of the historic town and got to check out the seven streets. Learning about the history and the cool facts about Bilbao made me really appreciate the beautiful scenery and understand the local culture even better.
Afterwards, I went out with friends to try pintxos, and they were delicious. One of them had the crown of a rooster, which was a unique experience. Finally, we went out to dinner where we got to try so many appetizers and different foods in Bilbao. It was delicious but FAR too much food. I’m now full and ready for bed, excited for a whole new day tomorrow.
