Taekwondo & Town Hall

Today we finally had the chance to sleep in which was a great break after many packed days. It was so nice but I was still so tired. We started our day with a taekwondo class which was intimidating but SO fun. I was really bad at it but I tried my best. Our instructor was so nice and taught us the meaning of taekwondo: “tae” meaning foot, “kwon” meaning “fist”, and “do” meaning “way”. After our hard word at taekwondo we ate some all you can eat Korean BBQ, which was yummy, and then headed over to Seoul City Hall. We took a fun tour of the building where we got to see the library that used to be the old city hall, the mayor’s office, and much more. The building was beautiful and full of so much history.

In the afternoon we got a group dinner of beef bulgogi in Myeongdong, and then spent the rest of the night shopping in Myeongdong. It was such a fun and full day and I am super excited for our visit to Yonsei University tomorrow!
