During our visit to the oil tank park, we had a great time walking around and exploring the grounds. The industrial structures and the way the area was designed made it a really unique space to visit. Unfortunately, we couldn’t go inside any of the tanks since the interior areas were private property, but even just seeing the layout and scale of everything from the outside was pretty fascinating.
After exploring, we grabbed lunch—and it ended up being one of the best meals of the trip. A few of us ordered sushi, noodles, and tartare, and everything was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable. After that, we treated ourselves to some incredible donuts that I honestly can’t stop thinking about. I paid for everyone, and it felt totally worth it—great food, great company, and such a fun vibe all around.
Later in the day, we visited Arisu, Seoul’s tap water company, to learn about how the city purifies its water. It was super interesting to see the process in action and to visit their small museum, which was full of detailed information about the history and science behind their system. After the tour, we made our way back to the hotel to get started on our final projects, feeling both inspired and well-fed.
