We started our day with a visit to the bioengineering labs at the Bilbao School of Engineering. We had the chance to see several of their current projects up close and ask questions about their design processes, missions, and development timelines. It was fascinating to learn how intricate this work is. It involves not only engineers but also medical professionals who help identify clinical needs, conduct trials, and test the practical application of the machines.

After our visit to the labs, we headed to the Hanging Bridge, which was such a cool experience. It is one of the world’s oldest transporter bridges, which allows people and vehicles to cross the river while the structure remains stationary. It was super windy and cold, but it was worth it to be able to explore and witness such a unique piece of architecture. Also, the view at the top was incredible!
