Bilbao – Day 6

Today was a much simpler and easy day after the previous busy day. Today we got to sleep in and then went to the Bilbao theater. We took a tour of the theater and all the historical aspects it involved. They had tons of costumes from previous plays including the most interesting to me, which was the 40lbs dress that an actress had to wear. They also told us about how many times the building had to be repaired. There had been multiple fires and a flood so the theater was reconstructed in many different ways. Afterwards we all tried this wonderful crepe restaurant where I tried my first real crepe! It was amazing.

After, I took a nap until me and my friends were ready for our hike. We decided to try the hike that was recommended by our tour guide. The hike led to another amazing view of the city and a beautiful forest trail. Then to finish off the already spontaneous day, I cut hair for the first time. This was because my friend decided to shave his head in Spain for fun. I am still wondering why, but I won’t complain because it was very fun for me to do.
