Final day in the Basque Country!

It is sad to say this is the last blog we will write on the most amazing trip. We started off with breakfast at the hotel before heading back to the Basque School of Engineering. We heard wonderful presentations that dove deep in to the design process that both engineers and nurses use. It talked greatly about how lengthy the process is and the amount of mistakes that will be made. It will take years and numerous tries to perfect their craft. We then had our final lunch before enjoying Saios final remarks and advice. She read to us her favorite children’s book that she reads to her soon, known as The Little Yellow Bird. It was a story of the importance of sharing one’s inventions for the greater good.

Later that day we had our final program dinner at a pizza restaurant. It was absolutley delicious and a great way to end off an amazing trip. Singing happy birthday to Harvey was the cherry on top! I truly hope i gain another expiernce as amazing as this in the future. It furthered me professionally and culturally and was packed full of now cherished memories.
