Today was the final day of all of us being able to spend time together during the program. We had to present our final projects with our company groups and then we had a farewell dinner with everyone in the program and their groupmates.
Our days started out slower than usual, as we didn’t need to be awake by a certain time to catch the bus. While this was a welcome change, many of us still woke up early in order to practice our presentations before 2 o’clock, when we would be sharing with the group. My group decided it would be a good idea to get lunch at the Mensa before we started, giving us around an hour to practice and perfect. Our group was Hoerbiger, which was not the most advanced in terms of responding to the EV trend, but was interesting nonetheless.
The presentations all went very well, everyone was able to discuss their companies in an intelligent manner, and able to answer questions as well. Once we were all finished, Professor Feick told us we had all done a very good job, and then we were dismissed until dinner.
Our farewell dinner was in the Ratskeller, the restaurant under the Rathaus in Augsburg. The food was delicious, and everyone was spread across two massive tables, all talking about what we were going to do on our free day, as well as how much we were going to miss each other. When dinner was over, we gave the Augsburg students some Pitt Business shirts to remember us by, and said our goodbyes.
