Hello! My name is Reid Tiskus. I am currently a junior at the University of Pittsburgh pursuing a degree in Marketing. Academics aside, I enjoy running, cooking, and weightlifting. I am currently training for the Boston Marathon, along with several other races throughout the summer. Currently, I work at Fleet Feet, a specialty running store, and I also manage my own eBay store were I thrift and flip items.
I have a strong interest in travel, especially visiting U.S. National Parks. So far, I have explored Zion, the Grand Canyon, and Joshua Tree, all of which have deepened my appreciation for nature and being able to explore it. However, I have never traveled to Europe, and I am very excited about the opportunity to experience a new culture, environment, and way of life during our two week trip. I am especially looking forward to trying authentic local food.
Additionally, I have a passion for cars, which is one of the main reasons this course immediately caught my attention. The opportunity to explore automotive production and learn more about the automation behind major brands like Audi is something I find incredibly unique. Overall I am very excited and can’t wait to touch down in May.
