This last week has flown by. Between finals, packing, moving out, and saying bye to friends, overwhelming would be an understatement. I spent my last week studying day and night. There is going to be a big shift in the coming week. I am still so grateful to be going on this trip. I have already made so many friends and it is only day one.
We are all about to endure a 30 hour travel day. We start at 930 in Pittsburgh. Then we go on a 2 hour flight to Atlanta airport. We sit through an 7 hour layover until 11:50. The flight from there is 14 hours and we land in Korea at 4AM Korean time. I anticipate being completely exhausted.
We are all having a blast getting to know each other. We have been exploring airports in our layover and playing games. I am glad I am with such wonderful people. I brought Link and Zelda to pass the time along with a Talk To Me in Korean book to learn some Korean.
The part I am most excited for is the food. I cannot wait to have Korean BBQ and Bimbimbap. I am also so excited for the baseball game. The upperclassmen said they enjoyed it a lot and the food was cheap, unlike in America.
