Costa Rica !!

Costa Rica’s environmental sustainability makes the country seem cool to me. It makes me want to explore the country more and see how they accomplish these goals. It is definitely impressive and makes the country more desirable for me to go to. The United States has limited environmental sustainability when it comes into comparison to Costa Rica. With that in mind, it makes it more fun to explore a country that is not similar to one you live in. I am very excited to visit Costa Rica!

While researching Costa Rica sustainability, I found some key initiatives that the country uses. Firstly, the country has a National Decarbonization Plan that they follow. This is a comprehensive strategy to modernize the economy, focusing on transforming transport, energy, and waste management to achieve net-zero emissions. Secondly, Costa Rica has a Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES/PSA). This program pays farmers and landowners to help restore and conserve forests.

I don’t have any pictures of me holding a banana, but I do have a picture of me on a banana boat! I also don’t like coffee but here’s a picture of me holding hot chocolate (pretend it’s coffee).
