In the first few days of our trip we have been running all over the city viewing tons of historical cites. The main place we have visited now is the Parthenon! I’ve always been impressed with the innovation of the Greeks and Romans but being there to witness its scale and depth in person brought me a another level of appreciation. The amount of tiny details that I didn’t know about really made me realize how impressive the Acropolis is, especially since it was built so long ago. As we walked around the cite and the museum I really began to understand the level of cooperation that would have been needed for a project like this to be completed in such a short timespan, 15 YEARS! I am inspired by that level of cooperation, it really opened my imagination to what can be possible now if we are able to work as well together.
