Hi my name is Sophia and I’m a nursing major. I like to volunteer at my local animal shelter and I am starting a volunteer position at my local hospital this summer! I like to snowboard, play pickleball, and go to the beach. In the summer, I work at an ice cream shop in South Jersey.
My chosen Plus3 location is Argentina. I have chosen this program because two weeks felt like the perfect time to study abroad without missing fall or spring semester. I have always wanted to go to Argentina and I’m excited to try their world-renowned steak! I am also excited to see the business aspect of a hospital. I hope to learn about the difference between Argentina and the U.S health care system. I want to bring back my knowledge and apply it to the U.S hospitals. I hope to also make new friends and create life long memories!
