Being in a city with such deep rooted and respected history never fails to inspire me. These past two days, we were able to visit the Acropolis as well as look into related preserves in the Acropolis museum. Through surrounding myself with such enchanting knowledge it truly helps me to get a glimpse into the past. Understanding how Greek mythology shaped their society today undoubtedly impacts the innovative way they approach problem solving within the engineering field. This ability to preserve while creating inventive new approaches to living through developments like the Elinkon Project showcase the duality of what is possible.
Though our trip has only begun, every day in Greece I am able to feel myself being exposed to having an open mind to both the past and present, awarding me with a diversified perspective on what is to come about. This might be my sign to read more Greek Mythology!
