Our site visits in Greece have been significantly impactful for me. Prior to this trip, I had never been farther into Europe than Portugal; thus, I was extremely excited to see and explore another European country that is even further from home. Touring around Athens has effectively widened my worldly perspective, allowing me to see the living tendencies and values of another culture. Touring the Acropolis and taking an authentic cooking class have made me appreciate the history and cuisine of Greeks, and it makes me curious about other cultures and people. This trip has ultimately impacted my future because I aim to gain even more worldly experience. Now that I have dipped my feet in the water, I am ready to branch out even more in the future!
