Today was a doozy to say the least. We began with a lecture from UNIC about venoms vs. poisons and how the research for their antidotes can change the whole medical world. Afterward we traveled to Kolonaki for some delicious lunch, which was some gyros for me, and visited the Benaki Museum. This Museum was donated by Benaki, hence the name, and had many different pieces ranging from clothing back then to detailed paintings. After the museum, we hiked up to Lykavittos to see a beautiful view of Athens. To say the least my flat feet were hurting but the view was so worth it. Today was a day of learning and views that will effect my life forever. Between the insane regenerative glass and the view from the top of Athens, today taught me to live in the moment but also be excited for the future.
