Over the almost week I’ve been in Athens, I have done many activities ranging from cooking food to hiking to the top of Athens. Throughout all of these adventures though, my favorite has to be the today where we toured the Temple of Poseidon and stayed on the beach till the sunset. The Temple of Poseidon sat on a hill of a peninsula looking over the sea blue water. The views from the temple were immaculate and the temple was gorgeous as well. You can see the remains of the temple and the temple remains that were scrapped centuries ago yet to be used again. The beach, on the other hand, was a nice sort of freedom that we were given. We were given a lot of time, and even the ability to stay longer without taking the provided bus back, to do what we want to in the beautiful Greece weather. I played a lot of American football and spike ball while taking short breaks to relax in the sun with my feet berried in the sand. I stayed till sunset to see the sun connect with the water to create a orange reflection and a beautiful photo.
