Today was our 7th day in Bilbao! This morning we got to sleep in and eat a later breakfast which was amazing. After we ate, we boarded the bus and headed to San Sebastian. Our first stop in San Sebastian was on top of the mountain to see some beautiful views of the beach and city. We took so many pictures! We then drove back down to the city for a short walking tour with our amazing tour guide. We went into a cathedral, walked along the boardwalk, and learned a little bit about the history of San Sebastian. We had some pintxos and delicious cheesecake for lunch. Afterwards, we continued to explore and enjoy the wonderful city.
We boarded the bus to go to a beach in Zumaia. Since I’m not a sand or beach lover, me and Emily stayed on the boardwalk and got cappuccinos and watched the surfers in the ocean. Once we got back to Bilbao we got Mexican food to end off the amazing day. Today was such a fun day exploring places outside of Bilbao.
