Learning From the Past to Improve the Future

One of the most meaningful experiences from today was visiting Epidaurus Theatre and learning about how the ancient Greeks designed structures with incredible acoustics and attention to detail. It was impressive to see how people thousands of years ago were able to create a theater where sound could travel clearly across such a large space without modern technology. This experience showed me the importance of creativity, precision, and problem-solving in design and engineering. It also reminded me that some of the best ideas can last for generations when they are built with purpose and innovation. In the future, I think this lesson can apply to both my academic and professional life by encouraging me to focus on creating work that is not only effective in the present, but also meaningful and long-lasting over time.
