Today was absolutely amazing and one of the most impressive company visits we have experienced thus far. We started our day off at UNIC, by receiving a lecture on sustainability in the supply chain. We then traveled to Piraeus Port for our company visit which was an absolute treat. We recieved a presentation and Q/A on the company, yet we were allowed to tour the port by bus. The port is split into 3 different sections and we got to view pieces of all of them. Specifically we observed the heavy machinery used to load containers on and off of boats. We also activley witnessed this happening in real time. We also saw all of the different company logos on the hundred of shipping containers which was very interesting. The vessels that the containers were being loaded onto were absolutley massive and amazing. As usual Greece fails to disappoint, cant wait for tomorrow.
