Today we toured the Alfaomega warehouse and its goals as a pharma warehouse. Pharma warehouses only house medicines, to be more specific pills and stuff you would find on the shelves of pharmacies. At Alfaomega’s warehouse, they have two different holding containers for the pills. One is the normal warehouse, out in the open with shelves staked to the roof, while the other is kept in a cold room to preserve the pills. One thing I did notice as we were walking around the warehouse was the silence. This means that the people working in the warehouse new exactly what their doing and didn’t falter at any obstacle thrown at them. I would say the one thing that differentiates them from regular warehouses is their own cart that they built. This cart specializes in small orders of pills allowing up to 20 orders fit in one cart and for them to be sorted.
