Okay, this post will actually be short because we didn’t actually do anything today. I woke up bright and early at 8:05 AM but still missed the salty bread. Luckily, some was saved for me by them, so thank you for giving me some. Emma delivered it to me mostly because she was in the room right next to mine. I think I’m completely cooked for the jet lag, so I’m planning on not sleeping on the plane and just watching a ton of movies instead. But anyways, I went out with Felix, Dom, and Chris to go to Myeongdong station. Dom bought shrimp chip socks and I just wandered around with Chris before heading back to the hotel. Felix somehow managed to lock himself out again, so I have him my card and he went up to pack. I bought a ton of drinks for basically no reason. I bought a Mogu Mogu peach drink, a milk soda type drink, and a Monster energy. I’m dedicated to just staying up on the plane, though I’m not brave enough to rawdog the flight. Despite Felix taking a while, we finally checked out and boarded the bus. Aakash and David gave their final speeches and departed. Esther serenaded us and gave her speech. Everyone else followed suit, starting with Dr. Yun then Chris and finally Jake started the student speeches. When it came to my speech. I just shouted out people who made this trip great. First, I shouted out our dear group C leader (group C on top), Emma. Then, I shouted out our program leaders, Esther, Aakash, and David. I completely forgot you shout out Felix, who was a great roommate, and of course, the GOAT, Hechi. We had the perfect ending by singing Sweet Caroline during Dom’s speech time. Honestly, this was the best thing that happened this entire academic year. And to think I could’ve gone Penn State (yuck).
Just now, Rohit loaned me 35K won to spend at the airport and keep as a souvenir, so I’m ready to get on this flight and not sleep. Definitely no sleep.
