Today (or yesterday, oops), we started by visiting NanoTech. This is not actually a nanotech company, but instead manages energy usage for their clients to try to optimize energy production and consumption. We then took a trip to the pharmacy (which I needed desperately), and got lunch where I got a quesadilla. We then went to the technical museum, which was very interesting. I thought the cars were only ok, but I was a big fan of the astronomy exhibit. I then walked through the park back to the hotel with some people, and picked up some souvenirs on the way. We went back to the hotel, took a power nap, and then got dinner on the boat. This experience was so so cool. The food was really good, and even though the weather could have been better, I really enjoyed standing with everyone on the top of the boat. I was exhausted afterward, so I went straight to bed, which is why this blog is a day late.
So far on this trip I am definitely most grateful for all of the people that I have met. This may be a basic answer, but it is true. I have gotten to know everyone on this trip at least a little bit, some more than others, and I know that these people are going to be at the minimum a friendly face to see in Benedum. Others I know I will remain close with after the conclusion of the trip. I am so so grateful that I got to meet everyone and see some experiences that are different than my own.
