Today we left Bilbao due to the Copa Europa Final between Manchester United and Tottenham. Our hotel got too expensive as it the the partnered hotel with the match. On the way to our new destination, Guernica, we stopped in the mountains to visit a company called Tekniker. They specialize in taking people’s dreams to reality through engineering and developing products that their clients come up with. Their facility was giant and very modern and had lots of labs. They were working on completely different projects in each lab which was interesting to see as they don’t specialize in one field only. It was also interesting to hear from their interns from the US talk about what they do and their internship experience at Tekniker.

After this we took a short ride to Guernica, where we checked into our new hotel. Soon after, we went to Guernica’s Casa de Juntas which was filled with artifacts from Guernica. We also got to see Picassos painting called “Guernica.” After these short tours I was beat and went straight to bed.
