Hi everyone! My name is Taylor Onsted, and I am currently a sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh. I am majoring in Supply Chain Management and Business Information Systems with a Business AI certificate. I live in Dexter, Michigan, which is less than 15 minutes from the University of Michigan. Outside of academics, I work as a sales associate at the University book stores and am a lifeguard at the Student REC Center on campus. This keeps me quite busy while I am on campus; however, in my free time, I enjoy reading, doing fun little crafts, and watching movies or TV shows with my friends.

I applied to the Plus 3 program for a couple of different reasons. I love traveling! My favorite place I have gone has to be Paris. It was a lifelong dream of mine to visit the Eiffel Tower, so seeing it in person was the most amazing experience. I really wanted to have an abroad trip throughout my college experience and felt this was a great opportunity since it is only two weeks, almost like a test run to see if I wanted to spend a whole semester abroad.

Another reason I applied to this program was that it is a Supply Chain-focused program. Since that is one of my majors, I am looking forward to gaining real-world experience in the field, specifically in a global setting. This is a very unique opportunity and will hopefully put me ahead in the future. I am also incredibly excited to meet many new people, both from Pitt and in Germany! Talking to past participants on the trip, they heavily talked about the friends they made and how close they were able to get in just a few weeks.
