Operation: 17 Hours of Flight (May 4)

I decided to pull an all-nighter with some other people, so it would be easier to sleep on the flight. We watched stand up comedy routines on Netflix until 3:00 in the morning. At that point the students traveling to Vietnam were heading to the airport, so I said good by to some of my friends on that trip. At 3:50, we headed to out bus that would take us to the airport. Everyone going to Korea was ready and punctual. However, we were sharing our bus with those traveling to China, and some of them decided to sleep in. After thirty minutes everyone was finally on the bus and we set off to the airport.

Check in at the airport was very smooth. While we were waiting to board the plane, I met a man in the United States army who was also traveling to Seoul. He told about his position at a base in Korea, and many interesting stories of his life. I then boarded the plan and have no recollection of the flight at all. I was so exhaust from not sleeping and slept through the whole flight. Just like that we were in Dallas.

The next flight was just as uneventful. We had an hour layover in Dallas, which I used to by myself a pretzel. We then boarded our second flight, which I feared as it was 14 hours long. I was still very tired at the time and decide to try and sleep for a bit longer. I then awoke 10 hours later. It was one of the better flights I had ever been on. Flying over Korea was beautiful. We landed in Incheon, a small island which housed the Seoul international airport. We then proceed through the fastest immigration I have ever experienced, about three minutes, and official set foot on Korean soil.
