Sadly today was our last company visit, but by far the best visit we have had! Today was Audi and this is the company that my group for the presentation was focused on. The group split up into two separate groups. I was in the group that went on the museum tour. The workers told us to start on the very top floor, when we entered the elevator and it was like a “time machine”. The elevator brought us all the way back to the beginning of when Audi was created. Each level had so many cars from the time period it focused on with so much history. Every time you went down a floor, you were getting closer and closer to today. the bottom floor showed cars of the future and what Audi is working to create. I really enjoyed this museum and it was very cool to see all the different styles of cars throughout the years!

After the museum tour we met up with a tour guide who made us all lock our phones away while we went on the Audi tour so I will not get to share any photos from inside the factory. This was honestly one of the coolest things I have ever seen. We started in different areas of the factory that each specialize on working with a different part. Then we watched the while process of a car get made made with the help of robots and human workers. Audi produces around 2,000 cars everyday from this factory so to see them get made was a really big deal. We literally saw a sheet of metal get transformed into a fully working/running car to then be driven off of the conveyer belt to be cleaned and eventually sold. Everyone was staring with their mouths in awe like kids in a candy store over what we were seeing inside of this production factory.

After the factory tour we had an hour long presentation where the men who worked for Audi explained a lot of the business side of how Audi works. Being a business student this was very interesting and cool to learn about. The presentation also focused heavily on their plan for electric vehicles (EV) and how they will move forward into that world as the years go on. Finally the door was opened for everyone to ask questions and I have never seen so many hands fly up at once! Audi said by the year 2026, they plan to be manufacturing only EV’s. I learned so much information throughout this whole day that will help. me be successful with my presentation to come in the following days!
Lastly we had lunch there and shortly after drove a long ways back to the hotel. The day felt so long so my roommate and I (who are in the same presentation group) took a 3 hour nap before meeting up with the rest of the group to share notes!
Overall the day was amazing and now I can say I have been to the Audi headquarters and have seen a car get made!
I’ll see y’all tomorrow!
