An Entrepreneurial Mindset…

Today, we visited Guinness Enterprise Center or GEC. For context, GEC is a company that helps provide resources for other businesses to grow in an entrepreneurial environment. My main takeaway from today is that when companies empower each other there are large benefits for both parties. Being a business student I have always been taught the power of teamwork and collaboration but to see a real world example of a company whose main goal is collaboration was definitely eyeopening. We also briefly talked about an entrepreneurial mindset. Having this type of mindset will help you develop many skills such as: Creativity, Curiosity, ability to solve problems, and ability to think critically. These types of skills are skills that can be transferred from one job to another. An entrepreneurial mindset helps provide such transferrable skills like those listed above. I do think I have an entrepreneurial mindset to a degree. For example, I tend to solve problems often in creative ways. I also feel like it is something that can always be improved upon and I definitely want to keep working on that type of mindset moving forward.
